How To Choose A Pediatric Power Wheelchair
Article by Jed Baguio
The first word people usually think of is pity when they see a child who is confine on a wheelchair. Perhaps the child is helpless but that is not what he/she needs. He/She needs support and consideration and not sympathy.
It is also important that parents should consider their children’s mobility and independence. These children for sure want to be treated as normal but may not be open about their feelings at all times. Parents should be sensitive about this. They must provide their children independence by choosing the right wheelchair for them.
